Locking Well Protectors

Available from USExploration Equipment Company in a number of different material types and configurations.

The Locking Well Protector is installed over a water/monitoring well which finishes above grade.

The well protector is typically 5-feet (1.5 m) in length to allow for secure anchoring into the surface surrounding the well.

Each assembly includes a hinged or swivel style access door.

Custom lengths are also available upon request.

Locking Well Vaults

Available from USExploration Equipment Company and are designed to allow access to “clusters” of monitoring or observation wells.

The Vault contains a recessed locking device and a cover which are designed to keep out water, dirt and debris.

Each Vault features a steel frame, diamond plate cover, steel skirt and carries the H-20 load steel rating.

Specify your required dimensions, preferred hinge type & skirt length when ordering.

Both the male & female ends are clamped, and use a PVC Sleeve.

Typical 2-inch (51mm) environmental monitoring well installation using a Pre-Pak screen – very similar to an installation using conventional screen and riser (casing)

Each Pre-Pak Screen, male end is equipped with an O-Ring Seal

Pre-Pak Well Screens

Manufactured by Monoflex & available from USExploration Equipment Company for use inside (DPT) direct push casing, installed in open bore holes or used as liners in larger diameter well applications.

These screens are all Schedule-40 PVC x .010” (referred to as “10”) slot with ASTM (F-480) Flush Joint threads & O-Ring Seals, for assembly of longer screen lengths (than the standard 5-foot) or to couple directly to threaded casing (riser).

The Filter Pack of clean, fine grade silica sand is secured to the PVC screen with an overlay of #45 stainless steel mesh that holds the sand securely & uniformly in place.

These Pre-Paks are unique because they have a PVC Sleeve under the clamp at each end which helps keep the PVC centered and the sand more uniform throughout the filter pack for more even flow through the slotted screen assuring optimal results.  This also alleviates gaps between the sand & the screen.
